Magic Grows from Responsibly Sourced Crystals.

In recent years, more and more people in the spiritual community have started to pay attention to where their crystals come from. It’s become clear that not all crystals have a positive backstory, with issues like harmful mining practices, unfair trade, and environmental damage making people think twice.

At the same time, the word "ethical" has been thrown around a lot, often in ways that aren’t entirely honest—much like greenwashing. A simple search for "ethically sourced crystals" brings up tons of options, but many of these claims are unverified. It’s easy for buyers to be misled, which is why it’s so important to ask questions. Honest sellers will happily provide details about where their crystals come from. As a result, many practitioners now prefer to work with stones they've personally sourced or ones with clear, traceable origins.

What does it really mean for a crystal to be "ethically" or "responsibly" sourced? Without any official fair trade certifications or systems like the Kimberly Process (which itself has its flaws), the crystal trade can get murky. Over time, we’ve had to find our own way, facing tough ethical questions as we’ve dug deeper into the complexities of the industry. Our journey has involved extensive research into the social and political landscapes of specific countries and gem-producing regions. We've also looked closely at unique geological environments, mining methods, and concerns about contamination and health risks, all of which have shaped the decisions we make today.

Our guiding values.

  • Prioritise working directly with our suppliers, whether they are small, family-run mines, local artisans, or trusted UK wholesalers. This hands-on approach helps us gain a deeper understanding of our supply chains and ensures that we can trace the origins of the crystals we source.

  • Consistently monitor geopolitical events in the regions from which we source our minerals. By staying informed, we can avoid inadvertently supporting conflict or unsafe working conditions, ensuring that our sourcing aligns with our values.

  • Actively support the communities involved in mining and crafting our crystals, promoting sustainable economic growth and educational opportunities. Each year, we dedicate a portion of our profits to charities that provide assistance to vulnerable individuals in the areas where our suppliers are based.

  • Fully committed to responsible sourcing and remain vigilant about the risks of forced labor within the crystal and mining industry. If any supplier in our chain is found to engage in such practices, we immediately sever ties to maintain the integrity of our operations.

  • Consciously choose not to import from regions or countries with a reputation for worker exploitation. Instead, we seek out and support better alternatives that prioritise the well-being and fair treatment of workers.
